Introduction & Use Cases
RESI (Real Estate Super Intelligence) creates decentralized, auditable property valuation models through competitive machine learning on Bittensor Subnet 46.
The vision
RESI aims to become a universal oracle for real estate and eventually all real world assets on blockchain. Starting with property appraisals, RESI expands to inspection services and other asset verification mechanisms to enable trustless, verifiable pricing for real world assets.
Current product: Appraisals
The challenge
Traditional real estate pricing relies on centralized authorities. This creates trust barriers for blockchain applications and limits innovation in property technology.
The solution
RESI operates a continuous ML competition on Bittensor Subnet 46. Miners submit property valuation models. Validators benchmark them against real sale data. The winning model becomes the trusted pricing source.
Key advantages
Transparent: All model performance metrics are public and verifiable on-chain.
Adaptive: Continuous competition produces models that adapt to current market conditions.
Decentralized: No single authority controls pricing. Consensus emerges from validator agreement.
Incentivized: Contributors earn rewards proportional to their model performance.
Future product: Inspections
RESI expands beyond appraisals to include property inspections powered by AI. Property owners upload images of their homes. AI models analyze the images to assess property condition. This inspection data adjusts the appraisal price to reflect actual property state.
This creates a complete pricing system: base appraisals from market data plus condition adjustments from visual inspection.
Use cases
On-chain applications
RWA lending: Protocols collateralize loans against real estate using RESI pricing. RESI returns price with model accuracy history. Protocols issue loans based on verifiable valuation with ongoing monitoring through periodic re-valuation.
Fractional ownership: Tokenized real estate platforms price property shares using RESI data. Initial valuation from RESI establishes share price. Periodic re-valuation updates token backing with transparent pricing.
Property derivatives: DeFi protocols create markets for property price speculation. RESI provides settlement prices with on-chain proof ensuring fair settlement.
Parametric insurance: Insurance protocols use RESI pricing to trigger automatic payouts. Homeowners purchase insurance against value decline. RESI provides periodic valuations. Automatic payout occurs if value drops below threshold.
Off-chain applications
Property listing websites: Real estate platforms enhance listings with instant, data-driven valuations through embedded widgets, seller estimates, and portfolio valuations.
Investment platforms: Investment tools provide portfolio valuation and market analysis using bulk property valuation via batch API and historical valuation tracking.
Lead generation: Lead generation platforms offer instant valuations to attract sellers. Homeowners enter property information and receive instant valuation, becoming qualified leads.
Market analytics: Data platforms integrate RESI for market research and reporting including regional analysis, investment scoring, and trend reporting.
How you participate
ML Engineers: Build and submit valuation models to earn rewards.
Validators: Run benchmarks and earn emissions for maintaining network integrity.
Developers: Integrate RESI pricing data into applications via API.
Stakers: Support validators and earn proportional returns.
